Not as touristy as the neighboring town of Jaco to the north, Playa Hermosa is a smaller community, a bit more laid back and tends to attract those who want to spend more time in, or on, the water or just relaxing.
Playa Hermosa has miles of uninterrupted coastline. With warm water and an abundance of sunshine it is an excellent choice for a relaxing and hassle free vacation, while the Resort offers first class accommodation.
Two thumbs up - This place was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for. Clean, quite, reasonably priced, safe, modern interior and walking distance to the beach. The location was perfect for day trips to Quepos, Jaco and Manuel Antonio. The managers Rachel and John gave us good suggestions for activities, restaurants and travel tips. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
